Cool Bike Two: 1935 Maclean Featherweight

1935 Maclean Featherweight. Original paint and components, with modern wheelset, tires, chain, seatpost, saddle, and rear brake. I've kept the original wheelset with the bike. It is comprised of steel hubs and rims, with a Sturmey-Archer 3 speed rear hub and drum front brake. I've also kept the original Brooks saddle and seatpin.

Most of the original components are BSA: crankset, pedals, bottom bracket, and headset. Major Taylor adjustable stem and handlebar.

This bike is lots of fun to ride, with distinctly vintage geometry (very slack angles.) With gearing of 46/16, it is a bit of a challenge on the hills. All part of the experience...
